Jeff: Thanks, Monte. Monte, what is data security?

Monte: Well, there’s 3 key elements of data security. There’s data at rest, which is in storage, data in transit, which is moving back and forth across the internet. And data in use, which is, you know, on your computer or on your phone. And all three of those, can be protected.

Jeff: Okay, and how?

Monte: Well, at rest, it’s password protection or 2 factor authentication. In transit. it’s a Virtual Private Network, which I’ll talk about in another video. And in use, again, it’s passwords and 2 factor authentication.
